Aloha my name is Kat, I am originally from New Caledonia a small French island in the South Pacific. I moved to Maui in 2002 and quickly fell in love with the island and the Hawaiian culture. I feel so grateful to be able to call Maui home and raise my children in such a unique place. After working in the tourism industry for the last 17 years on Maui and to accommodate the growing demand of french speaking guides in Hawai'i, I decided to create a tour business targeting our francophone visitors.
Being bilingual, I am happy to take our English speaking visitors on my tours as well!
All my tours are Eco-cultural based. I am a nature lover and feel passionate about Hawaiian history & culture. I am a certified "Professional tour guide of Hawai'i ".
My goal is also to promote Eco responsible habits with our visitors in order to protect the environment.
My family and I often volunteer our time through local organizations to help protect Maui's beautiful natural resources. Beach clean ups, Ocean bottom clean ups, native tree planting and marine debris sorting are among our favorite.
My CPR is up to date .

Voted "best island in the world" over the last 20 years by the "Conde Nast " traveler magazine , Maui is definitely "NO KAI OI" (the best). Nicknamed “The Valley Isle,” due to the great valley that lies between its two major volcanoes, Maui is known for its stunning natural beauty as well as its high-end luxury resorts and popular tourist attractions. Maui also has most of the micro climates found on Earth. In just a day you can drive from rain forest to dry land to black, white or yellow sandy beaches.

Up until the last minute we had no idea that our lives were about to be turned completely upside down.
We had no idea that life as we have known it for so long will never be the same. We lost our homes, loved ones, our beautiful historical town, our lifestyle and all our belongings in less than an hour. We evacuated with only the clothes we were wearing on our backs that day.
I am just grateful that
my 2 boys are I are still alive.
The last 6 months have been really challenging on our community, rebuilding our lives, hustling, non-stop for financial help to make it through the next months, healing from the trauma as we are breaking , finding a new place to call home again, taking care of our mental health to push through and try to move forward because we just don’t have a choice. To the world we are already old news and the financial support has now stopped.
But we are resilient and we have each other.
The power of our communities on Maui is grand. Multiple Silver linings came up through this tragedy and struggles and for that I feel extremely grateful. I am so proud of us all. Maui no ka oi is real!
I want to also thank all my amazing guests that I toured over the years , thank you for reaching out and loving on us so much , thank you for your help supporting us financially throughout the first months when to this day (02/14/24) my “rental assistance” still hasn’t been approved with Fema . (I have been paying rent since last October). I am forever grateful for you all .
On the day of the fires, I had to leave my minivan behind in order to evacuate safely.
For 2 months I thought it was just gone in ashes too.
Then I received a phone call from a police officer telling me that somehow my minivan made it and I should come pick it up!
Everything had melted around it to the ground but my minivan was standing and looking in great shape.
The police officer called it the “Blessed car”.
It got hit by tennis ball size embers that only hit the windshield and the car started right away!
I took it to a mechanic for a complete check up and only had to change the windshield, air filters and do a detailed cleaning in and out .
I was back on the road in November 2023 touring visitors and it felt really good to be working again. The amount of support and love from my friends , family and guests have been amazing!
I am just happy to be here. I am hopeful and have faith our future ! Grateful for bad and good times because it will shape us into stronger and better human beings at the end! Keep praying for Lahaina and again,
Thank you for all your Aloha!
